AM I TOO OLD TO EXERCISE?

No! Yoga, Pilates and Spirals all have class members of a wide variety of ages and abilities, because there is an emphasis at going at your own pace.  Age is not an issue for us, its just a number!

AM I TOO UNFIT TO EXERCISE?

Once again No! Low impact classes are best suited to a person who is new to exercise, so again all of our classes are perfectly suitable for someone who had never exercised or has not exercised for a long time!

WHAT ABOUT MY BACK/KNEE/INJURY?

We are happy to help class members manage their injury safely and effectively in class. However if you are still under the care of a specialist, we ask that you discuss your intention to exercise and ask if there is any movements that you should avoid.  We will happily call your specialist to discuss your care should you require this reassurance.

CAN I EXERCISE WHEN I AM PREGNANT?

The basic answer to this is yes, as long as you continue with exercise classes your body is familiar with.  We do not advise you to start a new type of class in your pregnancy but would say Pllates in particular is an excellent method of exercise for the post natal class member.

WHAT DO I WEAR?

We suggest loose comfortable clothing, our members come in a variety of clothing including leggings, track pants, jog bottomw etc.  We suggest that you wear layers to ensure that you are warm at the start of session but can take a layer off if you get hot! Most of our classes are conducted in either bare feet or socks, except for fitness and and dance classes of course, where trainers are advisable.

WHAT DO I BRING?

We provide mats for all class members, but you might like to bring along a bottle of water and perhaps a towel.  The only thing you must bring is a smile!

WHAT IF I CANNOT MAKE A CLASS?

If you are going to miss classes and the class you attend is very popular, we ask that you contact us by either text or email to reserve your place.  If the class is full your place might be offered to someone on the waiting list if we dont hear from you.  However we never ask you to pay for a drop in class if you do not attend - even if the class is fully booked.
